SANDED GROUT FOR TILE & STONE JOINTS
GECO DURAFILL 12 is a polymer-modified sanded grout developed for wider joints. Its sand-reinforced formula resists cracking, shrinkage, and everyday wear, ensuring a strong and uniform joints. It can be mixed with the GECO DURAFILL MAX Grout Admixture for better colour retention, durability, and water resistance.

Clean the tile joints thoroughly - remove dust, debris, and excess adhesive. Ensure the gaps are dry and uniform.

Add JOINTFILL to water as per the mixing ratio & mix to a smooth, creamy consistency.

Using a rubber grout float, spread the grout diagonally across the tiles, pressing it firmly into the joints until they are fully filled.

After initial setting, wipe the tile surface with a damp sponge to remove residue. Once cured, buff the tiles with a dry cloth for a clean finish.

Selecting the correct grout type for joint width is crucial for long-lasting tilework. Sanded grout is specifically engineered for joints between 3-12mm, where sand particles prevent shrinkage, provide structural reinforcement, and maintain volume stability. The sand framework reduces shrinkage significantly compared to unsanded alternatives, preventing cracks and gaps.
